Default Divine Boon bugged?

I am a secondary monk, and have had Divine Boon in my skillbar for quite some time. Just for the record, the skill description is as follows:

While you maintain this enchantment, whenever you cast a Monk spell on an ally, that ally is healed for 25-61 health, and you lose 2 energy.

I remember just last night I could spam Divine Boon for a quick +25 health, and since it has a recast time of 1 second, it was the best spell I could find that I could really spam a lot. However, I was using the skill today and noticed that I was not getting the +25 health bonus I was used to getting. And for the record, I normally have at least 1 enchantment on me in addition to Divine Boon, and yes I am casting all spells on myself. So, I figured this might be a bug with my game. I exited and ran the game again and again, however, no matter what I did I was no longer getting the health bonus from spamming Divine Boon. (I was however, getting the +25 health bonus whenever I used another spell on myself, such as Healing Breeze.

Has ANet changed this skill? I have not noticed anything in the game updates section on the website.

Anyone else noticed this problem?

ANet has changed this skill. Spamming it for self-heal was an unintended function.

Wait...so it no longer heals yourself when you cast "Divine Boon - a monk skill" on yourself?

While enchanted by Divine Boon, you do not gain an additional heal when you recast it.

In addition Divine Boon now cancels peace and harmony.

Skills that only target self - Boon, Shouts, Stances, etc. no longer trigger Divine Boon or Zealots Fire. It was deliberately changed in the last update, read the notes.

Monks kill their dopplegangers in the desert too easilly with Zealot's fire and spammin Divine boon.

I think that's one of the reasons they changed it.

There is a monk skill right now that has unintended uses that can used in a brilliant solo farming technique my guild came up with. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

What was the point of that? I can understand cancellation of zealots fire since it would mean seriously jacked up damage (I never thought of it, but I only ran a LB Prot monk so I didn't use ZF anyway.), but how in the world would you abuse it with P&H??
